If you stop and look around, you’ll notice Columbia, Missouri is in the midst of an entrepreneurial movement. With the business and academic community working together, entrepreneurs are finding support as they develop and launch their ventures.
That’s why Columbia College will host Ignition Pitch Competition, presented by Columbia Regional Economic Development, Inc. The competition (which is open to all mid-Missouri entrepreneurs) will feature promising startups pitching their ideas to a panel of local business leaders. And this year, competitors will vie for $16,000 in startup capital.
The event also will have networking opportunities with local angel investors, bankers and business leaders at a lunch following the competition. For those interested in pitching, click here.
To attend this event, please register here (the event is free and open to the community). So, join us Tuesday, April 10 in Southwell Complex for a day of innovation and entrepreneurship.
