HL StrongHarry “HL” Strong has been selected as the director for Columbia College-Patrick Air Force Base.

Strong has served as the assistant director of the Hunter Army Airfield campus in Georgia since January 2012, and he joined the college as an adjunct faculty member in 2010. This new position won’t be Strong’s first time at Patrick Air Force Base. He worked on base through service in the United States Air Force as an interim first sergeant and career assistance advisor.

“HL brings management and higher education experience to the position,” said Dr. Gary Massey, dean for Adult Higher Education.

Strong earned his master’s degree in human resource development from Webster University and his bachelor’s degree in art from Malone University.

The search for a new director began after Dr. Jeff Musgrove, former southeast regional director and director of the Patrick Air Force Base campus, was hired as the vice president for AHE. Musgrove is in the middle of a move to Columbia, Missouri, and he has already begun his duties as vice president.
