Fleury familySam Fleury, senior community and alumni relations coordinator for the college, penned an editorial for the Lake Sun as part of his participation on Lake Media’s reader advisory committee. He wrote about something near to his heart – giving blood. Fleury’s wife, Ann, who is a Columbia College alumna, received nearly 60 units of blood to save her life a few years ago. Now the couple serves as volunteer coordinators for blood drives that are put on by the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks and hosted at the Columbia College-Lake of the Ozarks campus.
