Dr. Eric Cunningham, associate dean for Adult Higher Education at Columbia College, was recently elected to his second term as president of the Columbia Kiwanis Club. Cunningham is the first two-term president in the club’s 92-year history. Cunningham also served as president from 1999-2000.
“Kiwanians believe we should do all we can to provide an environment, locally and globally, where all children, regardless of race, religion, nationality or disability, are valued and celebrated,” Cunningham said. “Adults too often let our children down and Kiwanians strive to make up for those deficiencies.”
Cunningham has been a member of the Columbia Kiwanis Club for 22 years. He also serves as chair of the Don Faurot Award Committee. In his role as associate dean, Cunningham oversees all matters concerning academic quality, curriculum development, outcomes assessments and adjunct faculty development for all 35 Columbia College campuses around the country.
