Columbia College-Lake of the Ozarks will host its third edition of ‘Coffee at the College,’ which are forums focused on current events, politics and history. The forum will take place Nov. 22 at 9:30 a.m. on the college’s campus at 900 College Blvd in Osage Beach and will focus on the recent Ebola virus crisis, analyzing how the virus is spread and provide insight on how local health officials have prepared in case of an outbreak of the virus locally.
Dr. Clemens Haggerty, faculty member at Columbia College-Lake of the Ozarks, Dan Sobourin, registered nurse at Lake Regional Health System, and Pat Olson, lead bacteriologist from the Missouri Department of Health, will present information and answer questions. Professor Jim Pasley will serve as host and moderator of the forum. The forum is open to the public; a free breakfast, refreshments and campus tours will be provided.
