Columbia College-Lake of the Ozarks students Jessica Stockton (Camdenton), Tonya Briggs (Lake Ozark) and Amber Corona (Laurie) recently received scholarships worth more than $2,200 each, courtesy of the Lake of the Ozarks’ Newcomers/Longtimers group. The scholarships were presented at the group’s monthly meeting; funding for the scholarships was achieved through the Newcomers/Longtimers annual home tour. Briggs and Corona are working toward degrees in Education while Stockton majors in Criminal Justice.

Newcomers/Longtimers has long been a supporter of the Lake of the Ozarks community and Columbia College students as they pursue their education, donating more than $230,000 to local charities, organizations and scholarships.
