Every year Columbia College proudly awards scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students who are active duty military, Reserve, veterans and their dependents. Recipients are invited to attend the annual Military Recognition Day ceremony at the main campus in Columbia, Missouri (attendance at the event is not a requirement of selection), which will be held May 21 this year.
The application deadline for three of these scholarships is Feb. 28. Do you or someone you know qualify to apply for one or more of these scholarships?
Col. Charles E. McGee Scholarship
Award amount: Two awards granted, $1,000 each
Who’s eligible: Any undergraduate or graduate Columbia College student classified as a veteran (no longer serving and honorably discharged), and/or a dependent of a veteran, who is degree-seeking with a minimum 2.5 GPA, attending a Columbia College campus.

Ousley Veterans Scholarship
Award amount: Four awards granted, $500 each
Who’s eligible: The award is presented to a Columbia College student veteran of the U.S. military who is making satisfactory progress toward a degree. Preference will be given to a student veteran who has exhausted VA educational benefits.

Col. Mike Randerson Scholarship
Award amount: One award granted, $1,000
Who’s eligible: Any undergraduate or graduate Columbia College student classified as a veteran (no longer serving and honorably discharged), active duty military, Guard, Reserve and/or dependent who wishes to attend the college.
