Audra Moss, a senior at Columbia College-Orlando, is the recent winner of the campus’s new student recruitment challenge — and the subsequent recipient of two Universal Studios of Orlando passes.
For January Session registration, the Orlando campus offered current students a chance to win the one-day passes to theme park, valued at more than $275. Current students were challenged to refer new students to the campus. If the referred students then registered for the January Session and maintained their enrollment in classes through the course-drop deadline of Jan. 20, the current student who referred them was entered into a drawing held Jan. 23. The contest was held in conjunction with Universal Studios of Orlando, which is a business partner of the Orlando campus.
Moss is a general studies major on track to graduate this July.
