The Springfield campus recently announced psychology student David Bossler Jr. the winner of its $800 annual campus scholarship.
Bossler’s interest lies in psychology research, particularly as it relates to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). He enjoys working from home as a data researcher, which allows him to spend more time with his children.
“He is excited to be back in college and focus on his and his kids’ futures,” says Springfield Campus Director Kathy Gress. “He is an excellent student carrying a 3.7 GPA. More than anything, David wants to be an excellent role model for his kids.”
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be full-time students who have completed at least 30 hours of credit at Columbia College and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
