Columbia College hosted an information session in May for an innovative new company called LaunchCode. The St. Louis non-profit is dedicated to helping people achieve careers in technology and was devised by Square co-founder Jim McKelvey. The entity specializes in tech apprenticeships and job placements, and is looking at potentially expanding its operations to Columbia.
