Campus director Sarah Goeke presents the Freeport campus scholarship to Krista Asche.

Columbia College of Missouri-Freeport Campus Director Sarah Goeke recently announced that student Krista Asche has been awarded the campus’ scholarship for the 2016 academic year. The $800 scholarship is presented annually to a current Columbia College student. Established in 2002, the scholarship is designed to award high-quality students with demonstrated financial need.

“We are thrilled to honor Krista and assist with continuing her education,” Goeke said. “Without the generosity of our alumni, faculty, staff and others, we could not provide this great benefit for our students, and we appreciate their support.”

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be enrolled with Columbia College, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 at the college and demonstrate financial need. They must also have completed at least 12 semester hours and be in good financial standing with Columbia College.
