Columbia College Regional Director MarJean Knokey recently announced the hiring of James Marrow ’14 as campus director at Columbia College-NS/Everett-Marysville. Marrow is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the campus, including class scheduling and student and faculty recruitment.
“James has been a leader at every stop of his career and has a solid background in working with military and civilian students alike,” Knokey said. “We are pleased to have him as part of the Columbia College team and look forward to his leadership at our Marysville, Washington, location.”
Marrow joins Columbia College having served 23 years in the U.S. Navy, entering as a junior enlisted sailor in 1992 and continuing as a drilling Reservist to the present. Most recently, he served as chief warrant officer and aviation operations technician for the U.S. Navy Tactical Operations Center at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington.
Marrow holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration from Columbia College and religious studies from Baylor University. He also holds master’s degrees in management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and in public administration from Texas A&M University.
