One of Columbia’s best-kept theater secrets is the Summer Arts Intensive at Columbia College. “Intensive” is the proper description. When a director pulls together a group of high school kids from more than one school to put together a full-length, popular musical and does it in 10 days from auditions to a beautifully costumed, perfectly set production — that’s “intensive!”
