Don’t miss out on your chance to apply for the 2018 Alpha Sigma Lambda national scholarships!
The Alpha Sigma Lambda scholarship is a non-Columbia College award offered by the national honor society for nontraditional students. This year, Alpha Sigma Lambda is offering 12 scholarships worth $3,500 each. Because Columbia College has an Alpha Sigma Lambda chapter, we can submit two applicants for the award.
The scholarship is open to any student at the Evening Campus, at one of our Nationwide locations or in the Online Education program who:
- has completed 24 semester hours of graded coursework at Columbia College
- has a grad-point average of 3.2 or more at Columbia College
- is enrolled in a Columbia College associate of bachelor’s degree program
- and has a financial need for assistance to complete the degree.

To apply for the award, submit a completed scholarship application form, a letter of recommendation from a Columbia College faculty member and a personal statement of no longer than two typed pages to campussupport@ccis.edu. If you are one of the two Columbia College candidates selected for entry for the national scholarship, a current official Columbia College transcript will be requested.
