Columbia College Regional Director Jeannie Simmons recently announced the promotion of Kelli Fram as location director at Columbia College-Lake of the Ozarks. Fram is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the location, including class scheduling and student and faculty recruitment, while also maintaining the location’s visibility and reputation in the community.
“Kelli did an excellent job during her time as assistant director at the Lake Ozark location and we look forward to seeing her excel in this new role,” said Simmons. “Her extensive experience in the higher education, public relations and marketing realms will be invaluable to the college moving forward.”
Fram, who is originally from Columbia, Missouri, and is a graduate of Hickman High School, earned a bachelor of science in business administration from Columbia College in 1991 while working as assistant director of the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau. Fram also earned an MBA from Northeastern State University (NSU) in 2014.
Shortly after graduating from Columbia College, Fram served as finance and communications manager for The Nature Conservancy in Little Rock, Arkansas. She then founded a marketing/public relations firm that boasted clients from 13 states including the University of Nebraska’s graduate programs.
Fram has worked in higher education for many years including roles as public information director for the Central Texas College District and marketing specialist for NSU.
