Columbia College and Lake Regional Health System recently announced the two entities have enhanced their long-time partnership and the college will now provide all eligible LRHS employees a discounted tuition rate.

The college’s Lake of the Ozarks location in Osage Beach has produced hundreds of registered nurses over the course of the last 14 years, many of whom have gone on to serve patients at Lake Regional Health System. The hospital, which boasts more than 1,350 employees, has also provided access to externships, clinical opportunities and much more for Columbia College students.

“We are proud to continue our strong partnership with Lake Regional Health System while continuing to be a quality community partner in the Lake area,” said Dr. Tina Dalrymple, director and department chair of Nursing and Health Sciences. “Our nursing program is one of the best in the region due in no small part to the support we have received from LRHS for many years and we are pleased to build on this positive relationship.”

The premier health care provider in the Lake of the Ozarks area, LRHS features its main 500,000-square-foot hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri, and also includes eight primary care clinics; 21 specialty clinics; four walk-in care clinics; four satellite physical and cardiac rehab therapy sites; five retail pharmacies; a skilled nursing facility; and home health and hospice services.

Columbia College offers six class sessions lasting eight weeks each and is very transfer-friendly, allowing students to complete their degree quickly.
