Fret no more over math or English classes – free help is here! Students can use Smarthinking, a free online tutoring service.

At Smarthinking, tutoring is available day and night to students currently enrolled in math courses, from basic math to calculus. Online instructors and tutors are available to give you the help, guidance and expertise you need to successfully complete your assignments. Connect with knowledgeable online staff to ask questions and receive quick responses.

You also can submit your writing assignments to their Online Writing Lab for assistance. To login, go to services.smarthinking.com and use your CougarMail address for your username, and your student ID as your password.

Smarthinking is not the only help out there. For our military students and their families, there is now Tutor.com. Tutor.com includes services for the K-12 members of military families that can help with math, English, science and social studies.

Though designed to help K-12 students, many military members themselves use Tutor.com to help refresh skills and knowledge in many subjects before tackling their college coursework. Go to tutor.com/military/eligibility to see who is eligible to access Tutor.com for the military. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Whether this is your first session or you are approaching graduation, know that it is our mission to provide you with resources like these to help you be successful in your academics.
