Leaders from Columbia College and MidwayUSA recently announced a new partnership designed to continue strengthening the Columbia community’s workforce. The college will offer the company’s 725 employees a 15% discount on tuition for classes taken through its Online and Evening Programs. This partnership strengthens MidwayUSA’s current Tuition Reimbursement Program, which offers employees up to $1,500 per year in tuition reimbursement.

MidwayUSA is one of the leading suppliers of shooting, hunting and outdoor gear in the United States. The company is located in Columbia, Missouri, and was founded by Larry and Brenda Potterfield in 1977, focusing on outstanding customer service and a culture of honesty, integrity, and respect. MidwayUSA supports many community organizations, including the Great Rivers Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation.

Columbia College offers six sessions lasting eight weeks each, allowing students to complete their degree quickly. Students can earn an associate degree in 20 months, a bachelor’s degree in three-and-a-half years, and a master’s degree in only 12 months. The college is very transfer-friendly, which may allow a student to graduate even earlier if they have previously attended an accredited college or university.
Students who take classes via the college’s Online or Evening program or at one of its locations nationwide will also have access to the Truition® program, which offers a transparent look at the cost of college by eliminating all fees and providing books at no cost.
