Columbia College-Fort Sill is proud to present Ruth Sarit with the 2020-21 Fort Sill Scholarship. She received the $750 scholarship to be applied toward tuition during her summer session. As part of the application process, candidates were to submit an essay on their achievements and career goals.
Ruth is currently pursuing an Associate of Science in Business Administration. She has proven herself both academically and ethically through her consistent hard work and determination shown in her coursework. As a military spouse, it is Ruth’s goal to further her education in order to better help support her husband as he proudly serves our country.
Additional eligibility requirements for the annual scholarship include applicants being an undergraduate degree-seeking student with the Fort Sill location; Attending during the early summer session; have a 3.0 GPA or higher; have completed 15 credit hours with Columbia College; have a history of leadership and service to community, school or country; and have submitted an essay meeting the detailed requirements. This scholarship is awarded annually and is funded by contributions made by faculty and staff.
