Columbia College recently awarded several scholarships to outstanding Online students to utilize for their Spring 2022 semester.
Four students were awarded the eScholarship and three students were awarded the Frank Westling Scholarship for the Spring semester. These students had some staunch competition with over 250 students nationwide between all Columbia College Global locations vying for a chance at the honor of receiving one of these scholarships.
To be awarded the eScholarship students must have completed at least nine online courses during the 2020 or 2021 academic year, have earned 21 credit hours with Columbia College, and be maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA.
Courtney White, Jered Bare, Leigh Lloyd and Michael Richards received the eScholarship. These funds will be applied toward tuition.
To be awarded the Frank Westling scholarship students had to be Nationwide, Evening or Online campus student currently pursuing a degree with Columbia College, maintain a minimum of a GPA of 3.0, have completed 15 hours with CC, and write a 400-500 word essay noting career goals and leadership interests within their career and/or community.
Claudia Villarreal, Maryurith Castillo, and Savannah Bertschinger received the Frank Westling Scholarship. These funds will be applied toward tuition.
The selection of these winners was difficult, the college has an amazingly talented and tenacious student population. We would love if you would join us and the Columbia College Community is congratulating these students on their accomplishment!
