By Kim Bonine, director, Columbia College-Jefferson City
Business instructor Herb Conner officially hung his “faculty” hat. Mr. Conner has a long-standing relationship with the college. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration after retiring from the Army. Herb served our students as an academic advisor from 1995-97, took a short hiatus, and then came back in 2004 to be an an adjunct instructor. Herb worked for the Office of State Courts and retired in July 2014 and continued to be an adjunct instructor for the college. Herb has done so much for the college and he will be greatly missed. In the words of his former students, “Let the man retire!”
Chris Reimer has been with the college in various roles for 15 years. He began his tenure at Columbia College in the financial aid office in 2006. In 2011, he accepted the academic advisor role for the Jefferson City campus. Chris has been working with our students in Jefferson City for 11 years. He is an asset to our office and to the college and we appreciate all he has done.
Chris was recently promoted to Senior Academic Advisor II! This is an esteemed position in the college that very few hold and a HUGE deal. Chris goes above and beyond each day to help his students with the best attitude every single day. We genuinely value Chris and want to thank him for being a part of the Columbia College family for over 15 wonderful years!
