Leaders from Columbia College and Cuesta College have announced exciting new features that have been added to the existing partnership between the two institutions. Cuesta College employees, spouses and dependents under the age of 25 are now eligible for a 15-percent discount on tuition to pursue their degree at Columbia College. Additionally, Cuesta College graduates are qualified for a 10-percent discount.
“Over the past 20 years, particularly in working with Cuesta College transfer students, I’ve seen first-hand the successful outcomes of the Columbia College and Cuesta College partnership,” said Columbia College-San Luis Obispo Director Theresa Genova. “By providing affordable quality higher education and exceptional student services, students can earn bachelor’s degrees locally and advance their educational goals and career aspirations.”
Established in 1963, Cuesta College offers classes at its main campus in San Luis Obispo, California, its North County Campus in Paso Robles and its South County Center in Arroyo Grande. The college offers more than 80 degree programs and 140 certificate programs.
“Our education partnership with Columbia College has been going strong since 2002,” said Cuesta College Superintendent/President Dr. Jill Stearns. “This new, enhanced partnership benefits students, employees and both institutions, and will foster continued collaboration for the next 20 years.”
