ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Columbia College Athletics Department has won its eighth-straight American Midwest Conference (AMC) Presidents’ Cup, while also capturing a second-straight Valerie Beeson Women’s Sports Championship.
Over the 2024-25 campaign, the Cougars finished fourth or higher in every AMC Championship sport, capturing eight championships. CC’s eight conference titles this year are the second-highest total in a single season since at least 2010-11. The Cougars hold the record with 11 titles in 2017-18 and matched the eight-title mark again in 2022-23.
The program accumulated 667.5 points in the final Presidents’ Cup standings, finishing 52.5 points ahead of the Owls of William Woods University.
Taking home first place points were men’s cross country, women’s soccer, men’s indoor track & field, women’s indoor track & field, baseball, women’s golf, men’s outdoor track & field, and women’s outdoor track & field. Volleyball, women’s basketball, men’s golf each received votes for second place.
