The Columbia College community is invited to “Go Wild” at 2025 Homecoming on main campus in Columbia, Missouri.

The week of festivities will run from Sept. 29 through Oct. 4, highlighted by the collegewide Homecoming Festival from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, on the Quad, which will include the coronation of this year’s royalty.

The family-friendly festival will feature food trucks, entertainment, inflatables, games and more as students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends gather at the heart of campus.

“Whether it’s your first visit to main campus or your annual tradition, we are excited to celebrate everything that makes CC special,” said Dr. Dave Roberts, Associate Vice President for Student Experience and Dean of Students. “We welcome Cougars everywhere to join us for what is sure to be an unforgettable evening at the 2025 Homecoming Festival.”

Students are encouraged to participate in several activities throughout the week in the lead-up to the festival and the Fall Formal dance on Saturday, Oct. 4, at The Broadway Hotel.

The popular Color Run & BBQ will get things started on Monday, Sept. 29, followed by Cougar Carryout and Laser Tag hosted by the Campus Activities Board on Tuesday, Sept. 30. The CC men’s and women’s soccer teams will both play home matches on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

On Thursday, Oct. 2, a petting zoo will take over The Quad from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a CC volleyball match at 6 p.m. and the Bump, Set, Bash Tailgate at the Southwell Complex following the match.

After the festival on Friday, Oct. 3, Cougar Athletics will induct three new members to the Columbia College Athletic Hall of Fame during a ceremony on campus. The inductees include Morgan Brandt ’19 (women’s basketball), Molly Carter ’19 (softball) and the 2017 national runner-up men’s cross country team. Tickets for the induction ceremony are on sale now.

“This year’s Hall of Fame class is another example of excellence personified,” says Drew Grzella, Associate Director of Athletics. “The fact that Morgan, Molly and the 2017 men’s cross country team were all on campus at the same time will make this event one to remember.”
