The two-time NAIA All-American and back-to-back American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Year returns to the circle for her final season as a Columbia College Cougar this spring.
Columbia, Missouri, native Ella Schouten brings a wealth of success, experience, and leadership to the Cougar softball squad.
Through her three seasons with the Cougars, Ella has posted a 38-15 record with an impressive 1.21 ERA. One of the most talented pitchers in mid-Missouri, she has also received national recognition as a three-time NFCA All-Region honoree and three-time First Team All-AMC selection.
Ella’s success extends beyond the diamond. She’s earned recognition as an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete and NAIA Scholar-Athlete, among other academic honors.
The moment Ella stepped on campus, she knew Columbia College was home. The campus atmosphere, student life, and softball program all pointed her toward the decision.
