Like most people during last year’s stay-at-home orders, I found myself watching more television than normal. Reality programs seemed to be the most prevalent option and were aired without reruns. Even streaming channels offered reality competition shows.

Going virtual for a second year means that I have not been able to address our local graduates in person, so I am using the summer newsletter as my platform take pride in the accomplishments of our local students and graduates.

In December while working on my family letter to recap the past year’s events, I had a hard time crafting upbeat narratives. Like most everyone, what could I say about 2020 without breathing a heavy sigh? Yet I am hopeful.
